The Piatt County Trail Blazers are all about fun with family, friends, horses and their annual rodeo. The facility boasts a beautiful permanent arena complete with bucking and timed event chutes, grandstands & announcers stand.
The facility also has a huge clubhouse building that hosts everything from event concessions to meetings, weddings and various parties as well as a huge Sunday morning breakfast, open to the public, from November thru February.
The Trail Blazers always encourage kids to get involved with riding of all types and rodeo. The club donates the ground to both IL Jr Rodeos and IL High School rodeos to help support those associations, their kids & families.
You'll always find Trail Blazer families (many of whom are 3rd & 4th generation members), including the kids, helping with shows and volunteering for arena and grounds duties. It is a tradition that will continue into the next generations of Trail Blazer families.
2023 will mark the 68th Annual Piatt County Trail Blazers Rodeo. This extremely popular event continues to draw both contestants and spectators from throughout the US, Canada and Australia & the rodeo is still growing.
The Piatt County Trail Blazers are the perfect blend of tradition and modern conveniences for everyone who visits the grounds. It is truly a great spot for both riders and their horses. So grab your cowboy hat and jeans and mark your calendars. Bring the whole family to the 69th Annual Piatt County Trail Blazers Rodeo on Thursday, Friday & Saturday,
June 20, 21 and 22, 2024 for the best in EXCITING & FUN FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT!
